Emily's Biog
I am freelance producer, and founder of Jagged Fence productions, formed in 2005.  I have since produced a number of critically acclaimed productions at venues including Southwark Playhouse, Riverside Studios, Finborough Theatre, and Arcola Theatre.   During this time I have developed strong connections with creative within theatre industry and established firm relationships with press and media. 
I produce bold, innovative and dynamic theatre; I am interested in drama that is exciting and provocative whilst being underpinned by a profound depth and integrity.  2012 marks a pivotal year for me as Jagged Fence launches an international premiere, a UK premiere, an exclusive new writing commission, and a partnership with the internationally renown Belarus Free Theatre.
Following the success I’ve had with previous productions, the STAGE ONE PRODUCERS BURSARY awarded to me is incredibly exciting opportunity to develop my creative and administrative skills, learning from experienced, successful West End producers.  The Stage One scheme is a brilliant facility that allows young producers to further their careers with essential support from theatre veterans and is a crucial step to my progression as a young ambitious producer – I feel extremely privileged to be a Stage One recipient and to be mentored by such prolific industry professionals.  This is an opportunity to expand my young company and develop a higher profile within the theatre industry throughout 2012 and beyond.
