BURSARIES FOR NEW PRODUCERS

THE BURSARY SCHEME IS NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS.

The Bursaries for New Producers scheme provides financial and practical assistance to new theatre producers with a view to furthering their careers. The scheme aims to facilitate and encourage the development of the next generation of commercial theatre producers.

‘The Stage One bursary was the single most important step towards my becoming a producer. It gave me the confidence to put on a show in the West End. The help, advice and financial support enabled me to take myself seriously as a producer and worked to demystify the whole intimidating process of producing theatre.’

Matthew Byam Shaw, recipient of Stage One bursary in 2000; recently developed and produced FROST NIXON for the Donmar Warehouse, West End and on Broadway

The Bursaries for New Producers is now closed for applications and will re-open in the Autumn.

The Bursary Scheme would not be possible without the generous support of:

The Underwood Trust
Sir Siegmund Warburg’s Voluntary Settlement
The Mackintosh Foundation
The Equity Trust
Andrew Treagus Associates

Deadline

The Bursary Scheme is now open for applications. The deadline for your completed application is Monday 18th November by 12.00pm.
